    Dear BPW Colleagues,

Susan Weidner Cooke, President We began a new year with speaker Rhonda Della Sala, Health Care Recruiter, St. Joseph Medical Ctr. and look forward to more interesting and exciting speakers. Please review the list of upcoming topics and speakers and mark your calendars now for the 3rd Thursday each month so you don't miss out. As you can see from the Programs Committee Report further in this newsletter, we still have a few available places for Sponsors. A sponsorship is just $50 and includes your lunch. Please contact me at 603-578- 9899 X203 to find out more information about this great marketing opportunity.

Just a reminder, our meetings begin at 11:00, so please plan on using this time to register, get settled in, hand out your business cards and network with the other members and guests. We also have the room available beyond the 1:00 end of meeting so you can stay and talk further with anyone you did not get a chance to meet.

Advertising is available through this newsletter for those of you that want to market your business. There are different levels of advertising, so read on, and contact Barb Tremlett at barbt@thehsccenter.com for more information.

If you are looking to have an impact on the organization and want to meet our members at a more intimate level, I recommend you join a committee. The more people that help, the less we each need to do. I am also looking for someone to serve as Vice President this year, and move to President next year. If you are interested or know of someone, please contact me at the above number.

I look forward to seeing you at the Tri-City Expo booth on Sept 25 from 3 - 7 at the Center of NH.

Susan Weidner Cooke
President

Report from State of New Hampshire

Our first Board Meeting will be on the 18th of October, location to be determined. All are invited and I encourage you to attend. We are looking for willing participants to work on several committees such as nominations. I'm in charge of the Convention for 2009 and I'm hoping to combine it with our sisters to the South in MA and possibly including CT! I'm afraid that is all I have to report but I encourage you to contact me via email or phone with any suggestions, concerns or observations you may have to help BPW increase Membership, develop programs or history of the group that will help me do the best job I can this year as State Vice President. Thank you.

BPW Nashua is a member of Nashua Chamber of Commerce!

The Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce's 80th Annual Dinner and Citizen of Year Presentation !!
The theme this year is Oktoberfest!
Introducing Rhonda Kallman as our keynote speaker.
Co-founder of Sam Adams and, most recently, Founder of New Century Brewing
When: Tuesday, October 28th
Time: Reception begins at 5 PM
Where: Radisson Hotel

As you know, BPW Nashua is a member of the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce. It has recently come to our attention that this is a limited membership. Our Chamber contact has forwarded their official policy on member organizations and non-profits.
It is as follows: "For non-profit organization and membership organizations with paid staff, the Chamber's membership benefits are extended to all members of the paid staff. For non- profit organizations and membership organizations without a paid staff, the Chamber's membership benefits are extended to the organization's Board of Directors only, for their term in office only. The organization is requested to provide the Chamber with an up-to-date listing of their Board on an annual basis." Please accept our apologies for any confusion.

Looking forward to seeing you on October 16th.

Sincerely,
Lopa Shroff
